You bend forward and turn the handle of the hatch. It pulls outwards, revealing what looks like a garbage chute. The smooth metal disappears into darkness after a few inches. You pull out your flashlight and shine it inside but it reveals nothing - the beam seems unable to penetrate the opaque black inside. It is large enough to climb inside.
