You grab the torch at the back of your boat and dunk it in the water to extinguish it, no longer needing it. You take the oars and steer yourself towards the little stream forming a path through the reads ahead of you. You spot tiny birds weaving their way in and out of the tall grass. Dragonflies and giant grasshoppers lazily float past you. In places, the reeds arch together overhead and form a ceiling as you pass beneath. Eventually you reach a three-way fork in the reeds.

To the left, the stream seems to grow darker and you notice the birds do not go near it. The center fork leads towards an enormous mangrove tree ahead of you. The stream on the right is much wider than the other two, but curves sharply so you are unable to see very far.

You can choose to follow the stream on the left, in the middle, or on the right.
