You greet the bird and introduce yourself. It tilts its head to the side and squawks at you. Encouraged, you start telling it about your day - a strange one, to be sure. It seems interested in your monologue at first but eventually grows bored and turns to lean over the side of your boat and drink water with its beak.
You can continue rowing or attempt to shoo the bird away after it rudely ignored you. You leave your whistle and flashlight in your pocket as you fear they may provoke it. |
